Custom Designs.....

some of my latest work has been designing with elk ivorys.  These ivorys are so beautiful and each one is uniquely shaped. 
These earrings are set in sterling silver.
Metal etching is a batik process in which I apply an image (in this case, actual fern leaves) to the metal with heat transfer. Then the metal is etched by a liquid, leaving a "fossil" in the metal.  Nature's simplistic  beauty.....leaving it's footprints...
